The Society of Animal Artists (SAA), founded in 1960, is devoted to promoting excellence in the artistic portrayal of the creatures sharing our planet, and to the education of the public through art exhibitions, informative seminars, lectures and teaching demonstrations. It is the mission of the Society of Animal Artists (SAA) to educate the public on the fact that the genre of animal art is no different than the various art forms which focus on the human figure, landscape, still life, etc.
